Background

The Construction Employers Federation (CEF) believes that every person starting work on a construction site in the morning must be able to leave that site at the end of the day uninjured and as healthy as when they started.

To this end the Federation is committed to assisting the industry to significantly reduce death and injury on construction sites through all means at our disposal.

One of those means is the Site Safety Inspection Service.

We believe that a site safety inspection can be a valuable tool in helping individual companies identify good and bad health and safety practice on their sites.

The Site Safety Inspection Service has been designed by the local construction industry to meet the specific needs of the industry. As an industry-owned service any surpluses that are generated in the operation of the service are redirected towards the Construction Employers Federation’s work to improve H&S in the industry.
