How do I apply for a card?

All applicants must undergo Health and Safety Training and Skills Assessment delivered by an Accredited CSR Provider. For a full list of Accredited CSR Providers contact CSR on 028 9087 7150 or download a list from here.

Why do I need a CSR card?

CSR card is required as proof of health and safety training and competence by many main contractors, clients and government.

How do I renew my card?

All applicants must update their health and safety training through an Accredited CSR Provider every four years to renew their card.

Can I check the progress of my card application?

Training Providers can check the progress of a card application by entering their user name and password and the candidate's details.

Can I use my card in the United Kingdom?

Yes. CSR is affiliated to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) in Great Britain and is accepted as equivalent to CSCS. 

Can I use my card in the Republic of Ireland?

Yes. The CSR health and safety training is equivalent to the health and safety element of the FAS Safe Pass Card in the Republic of Ireland.
