Government P&P - Central Procurement Directorate

Printer Friendly Version

Central Procurement Directorate came into existence as a result of the Review of Public Procurement in April 2002.

In May 2002 the Executive agreed to a revised Public Procurement Policy for all Northern Ireland Departments and their agencies. This new Policy is guided by a clear definition of public procurement and the concept of "best value for money".

The CEF has regular liaison meetings with CPD on all aspects of public procurement.
