Member Liaison - Local Association Meetings

Printer Friendly Version

The CEF operates a network of Local Associations that represent each geographical area of Northern Ireland.

Specifically these are:-

  • Belfast Builders' Association
  • Armagh Builders' Association
  • Antrim Builders' Association
  • Down Builders' Association
  • Fermanagh & Tyrone Builders' Association
  • Londonderry Builders' Association

Every CEF Member belongs to their respective Local Association and each Local Association provides nominated representatives to the Federation Council (the CEF governing body) and to each of the specialist sector committees. These are Private Housing, Social Housing, Civil Engineering and General Contracting.

This balanced structure ensures that there is a direct consultative and policy making process from CEF members through the Local Association network.

The Local Associations meet a minimum of twice per year (Spring and Autumn). At the Local Association meetings members hear presentations on topical issues and have the opportunity to network with other members and to raise issues of concern that can then be addressed by the CEF staff at Headquarters in Belfast.
