Anti-Competitive Practices in Construction - Office of Fair Trading Investigations Business Intervention by the Office of Fair Trading

Members will be aware of recent press coverage regarding an Office of Fair Trading (OFT) report into cover pricing in the construction industry. A significant number of large well known UK construction firms have been cited and the OFT has the power to impose fines on these firms of up to 10% of their worldwide turnover for activities related to cover pricing.
